{The tray on our bed is made locally by The Classic Workshop – the craftsmanship is incredible! // trays beside bed are lacquered from Addison Ross}
While we were in Montana last spring, we had our room painted Take Five by Sherwin Williams. I always try to utilize having anything with the house done while we’re gone. I have such a hard time with people in and out of the house during the day – I lose my focus! Also paint fumes and all that… So highly recommend taking advantage of time away for some home reno items on your to do list.
At first I was like WHOA. That blue is a lot. But as soon as we put the drapes in, it warmed it right up. I think it’s a fun, tranquil blue. This is a post about all of our paint colors in the house … except all the revere pewter is now White Dove Benjamin Moore.
We still need to take out the fan and put in a light fixture. I’ve always been a fan kinda girl, but when we had the AC unit redone, we put an extra couple vents in our room – and it’s really done the trick for us. So I’m on the hunt for a flush mount chandelier.

- I’m super happy to tell y’all how great the quality of the new duvet is from the Julia Berolzheimer collection at Pottery Barn. It’s zippered – thank you for not putting buttons on it PB! and the ties really hold the insert inside. I’ve even washed it all together, and none of the ties came off – making the bed super easy after washing.
- The curtains I grabbed quickly at target, and they are definitely blackout. The length isn’t right (I’d prefer the rod higher) so it’s a placeholder until I figure out what I want to do here. I have used this French return curtain rod in several rooms.
- The euro shams are Ballard with these inserts from Amazon. I had Ballard monogram them. I think they turned out so cute!
- I do love a weighted blanket – and these are my favorite.
- The bolster is a Lullie Wallace print, and I love it!
