My Everything Shower

hibernation for January favorites in a weezie Terry cloth robe

My Everything shower

I’m sure by now you’ve heard of the term “everything shower”!  It’s the shower you do before a big event, or once or twice a week- however often you want.  It’s when you have a little extra time or you’re prepping for an event of some sorts!  Recently, every time I’m in the shower, I’m thinking about how I should share all of my favorite “everything shower” items.  So here it goes!

This is truly my everything shower, not my everyday.  So it’s intense!  But a lot of these products I use daily.  It just depends on what I’ve got going on.

A moment for the filters I have.  We have this one on our sinks in our bathroom.  We also have the jolie one.  I think a filter can help your skin/skincare!  You can check your water quality for your zip code here.  Ours is not great, so we filter as much as possible.

If I have an event, or just wanting to feel my best that day … I love to use my sauna blanket and my red light mask prior to hoping in the shower.  I will also put my eye masks on, a hair mask, and a face mask too.  My favorite face masks are the resurfacing from tata harper, hydrating tata harper, Clarins Cryo, or Clarins Depuffing.

Before hopping in the shower I like to dry brush.  It feels weird, but it helps with exfoliation, lymphatic drainage, and can reduce cellulite too.

I use Elemis Cleansing Balm with these clean skin club towels.

For my hair I love to use the G Tox or the Coco & Eve Clarifying shampoo every few days.  But for every day I use Roz Shampoo and Conditioner.  After shampooing, I put my conditioner in for at least one minute.  I comb it through before rinsing it out.  This is the comb I use.

For shaving I prefer this mens razor.  I love this shave butter.  I have a love/hate relationship with my epilator.  The first couple times I used it, I was like ???  This thing is torture.  But it gets better.   I have to laugh – that’s not much of a selling point.  But just know, it will help you with your shaving but the trade off is, it sort of hurts.  I also dermaplane my face once a week.  That does not hurt and I love the way my skin looks after it.  It’s also supposed to help absorb your skincare.

I love this body wash, this exfoliating sugar scrub, and this moisturizing in shower salve.  I love these japanese washcloths that do a great job of exfoliating.

After showering, I dry off with a weezie towel.  They are so soft!  and I use their drying towels for my hair.  They cut down on dry time.

My favorite body lotion is this one.  After a bit, I’ll take my hair out of the towel, and use a tangle teezer to comb through.  I only use my airwrap if I’m doing my hair, so I just let it air dry until it’s 90% dry, and then I style it.

For my face and before make up, I put on Vitamin C, then a moisturizier with SPF.

OK, phew!  That was A LOT!  hope some of it was helpful.  xx
