As I mentioned last year, I married a very non-metrosexual man. it’s a fact. He’s just more into fishing, hunting, and golfing than his clothes. Maybe you have one of these kinda guys too? If so, see below.
First things first. Literally, coffee every morning like stat. JB loves coffee and I reap the benefits of that. Espresso or cappuccino on weekends? please. Lavazza is his favorite coffee. always a treat to wake up to italian coffee.
JB loves fishing. and some beer + wine. (: this is our fave wine opener. i’m horrific at opening wine bottles. this little gadget ensures jb isn’t eating cork for an appetizer.
Another love of JB’s (bought him this one before we were married), my daddy’s (just regular old gas grill) annnnnd my father in law’s(he loves his green egg) is grilling.
And I reap the rewards. (:
And since JB is an office man these days – he has quickly become obsessed with Brooks Brother’s non iron shirts. And their socks! Oh and for his birthday this year I got him this monogrammed shirt from J.Crew. Who needs a croc or polo man when you can have your initials- is what i say.
Oh and Books … sometimes those are the best presents. The book Where Chefs Eat would be perfect for my father in law who LOVES chefs. Seriously goes in every kitchen of every restaurant he’s been to. He’s been thrown out of them everywhere from Russia to Italy. so funny.
& as far as two subscriptions I think are worth a month or two of trying out on to see if it fits –
Dollar shave club – JB is still a member of this shaver subscription. and I tear the package open every time just to read the hilarious card they send with them.
Birch Box Man: We’ve yet to try this one, though I have been a big time birch box fan myself! I know some guys that would be into this. just maybe not jb. but maybe. let me tell y’all – he is always surprising me.
ps: this is kinda funny but both JB & I have been obsessed with Olivia Pope’s wine glasses. You can actually get them here! & they are affordable.
