This weekend was Jessica Lorren‘s baby shower down on the other coast.
if you’ve been reading my blog for like ten seconds you’ll know that she’s photographed basically every major milestone for the past five years. and I’m like a jess evangelist over here!
When ever we do move into the new house, my walls will be covered in JL. it’s a fact.
Aside from being an incredible photographer, Jess has become such a close friend of mine over the years. Even despite the fact there was an atlantic ocean between us or the state of florida for the whole time we’ve known each other. She is such a beautiful, hysterically funny person. She is as real as they come too. I admire her in more ways than I could list. So it was fun showering baby and baby mama this past sunday. I have to say Mary’s house served as the most perfect backdrop, her cooking was phenomenal, and I wish she had a school she ran to teach being a hostess (I’d enroll immediately). Halle (hallefrey@gmail.com) did all of the florals – from the wristlets with florals for each guest, to the gorgeous florals you see above to the wreaths with gold leaves. If you’re getting married or need florals in palm beach, you need to get in touch pronto!
I kinda just came in and sprinkled some details in. And it ended up working quite perfectly. and the end result was SO jess.
I kept thinking about this article since I had some time to think driving home on sunday.
the part that says
“remember that the more people a child has who truly loves
him or her, the happier that child will be”
him or her, the happier that child will be”
Baby C, you are sure to be the happiest baby on earth.
{ps: Jess launched a new blog yesterday – little baby sea – I am so excited!}
