I’ll never forget reading A Little Princess for the first time as a girl.
I remember finishing it in a few nights; sneaking out my book light so I could sneak more pages in past my bedtime even. The sort of book that ruins you for others. I loved the heroine in A Little Princess, Sara… and I really love this quote:
“Whatever comes,” she said, “cannot alter one thing. If I am a princess in rags and tatters, I can be a princess inside. It would be easy to be a princess if I were dressed in cloth of gold, but it is a great deal more of a triumph to be one all the time when no one knows it.”
amen.
anyway i was a princess for a morning recently! I was able to try out a few rent the runway dresses recently. cinderella for a day! sign me up.
and this dress was my top pick. reem acra does no wrong.
i honestly think this could be a wedding dress, a deb ball dress, a really fancy soire dress.
or just you know, donning along a street in your neighborhood one sunday morning … about that…
anyway,
it’s amazing, ethereal, and a dream disguised as a dress. fit for a princess for certain.
