Yesterday was Tucks nine month birthday! This age is so much fun. and i hear it just gets better, which is really hard for me to wrap my brain around. He is non-stop, go go go. Definitely has my go gene in him. He is really into dumping the contents of my purse out and examining each item intently. He lights up when he sees his daddy or grandparent’s. We’re still nursing! (which i kinda can’t believe). He’s starting to consistently sleep 12 hours a night … and watch, as soon as I write that he’ll throw us a curve ball. He loves music class. He loves sweet potato best. He’s got four teefies! sorry for going total mom on y’all this morning. but i just want to remember him, as he is, right now. things change so quickly around here! babies grow up too fast in my opinion.
And on my mind lately has been … discipline. weird, right? I mean obviously discipline does nothing right now. But I keep thinking about how we’ll handle it as a couple when the time comes. toddlerhood is when you really start, huh? anyone out there ahead of us on this? books to read? advice? I so want him to grow into a man of integrity, honor, courage, and be responsible and loving and kind… and and and. so yeah… how were you disciplined? JB and I were brought up very different in this; but both turned out all right. So I don’t think there’s only one school of thought …
