Forgive the silence around here this week. JB was out of town, and got back last week. And I have to laugh now, but I really thought I’d have all this extra time once the boys went to bed to blog. Which is HILARIOUS. The only thing I wanted to do was clean and pass out.  I have said this before, and I’ll never stop saying it – single moms are true real life heroes! … Anyway here’s some early morning routines that seem to be working so far. Â
{boys are in see kai run shoes c/o // The Bella Bean school outfits // and Ritzy Rose first day- last day school pennant}
So this week we are getting back into the swing of school this week, I’m trying to figure out our new routine for the fall. The boys will be at the same school this year! The very same school JB graduated from, and where we hope the boys will too. Wes is just doing a few mornings a week so far
{We use the whole Fairytales line but especially the lice repel leave in detangler/conditioner!  // bins from Pehr Designs c/o // rug is target}
I bought this table at goodwill earlier this year. It juuuuust fit the space off the boys room. I wasn’t really sure what I was going to do with it. Until last week I figured it’s a good place for their brushes, conditioning spray, uniforms, socks, and underwear. All the things I’m usually running around trying to locate. Especially a brush! I rolled their shorts with their shirts. They both wear their favorite colors – red and blue… so it’s easy to find which one goes to which boy. Hoping this helps make the mornings a little easier. So far it’s helped me from scrambling! Â
As for me? I always find that waking up earlier than my boys helps me tremendously. I get their lunch all finished up, get to focus on what I need to do that day, check my planner, read my bible and my favorite new devotional – new morning mercies. Then getting us all out the door is a workout! Then once I drop them off, or if I have wes, I’ve been getting some steps in at the gym. They have a little play area there for Wesley and I can watch him the whole time. Â
I am loving putting collagen , coconut oil, and my nutpod creamer in my coffee in the morning. I’m not hungry right when I wake up, but want my coffee right away. The problem is this can make me jittery – but with the 10 grams of protein and the fat from the coconut oil, I don’t feel like that at all. Then I eat my breakfast about an hour after. I can’t say for sure that the collagen is changing my skin, hair, and nails but it feels like it’s helping!
I am going to love having just wesley on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I had the best time with him this week – he got a little taste of what it’s like to be an only child. By 1 he is whining to go get Tuck and “I miss tuckie” … but the mornings have been so so much fun. I love my little buddy. And can’t wait to pour into him during those days! Â
Are y’all back to school yet?! Looking forward to an updated post on our routines here but for this week… I am just glad I finished one blog post (: Â
