Part of one of our bathrooms is great – they’ve got hexagon tiles, some marble, a clawfoot tub, and subway tiles.  I’m impressed since it was all picked out 20 years ago!  But it’s dated in other ways – the sconces and hardware aren’t as cute anymore.  Our pedestal sink recently was cracked, and started leaking, which was a bummer.  But!  it was the catalyst to finally revamp on this bathroom.   In my opinion, pedestal sinks – for a 1920s home already lacking quite a bit of storage, isn’t the best idea.  I cannot begin to tell you how amazing it feels to have a place to put my skincare that’s not out in the open on a shelf.  I’m far from organized, but this is helping!  I shared yesterday on stories, and had a couple of y’all ask for more details.  So here you are!  I do plan on removing the wood blinds in there, and probably just putting in some cordless bamboo blinds (like the ones we have in our breakfast nook).  I also wanted to share, because it’s intimidating getting started on some of these projects, but I do feel like this is pretty do-able.  Now my husband and brother actually did the hard work – plumbing, installing, and moving it upstairs… so maybe they have a different story (: Hope this helps if you are in the middle of a remodel (:
