FRAMING WALLPAPER
I have always loved Brunschwig & Fils Battle Of Valmy 1792 wallpaper. I dreamed of it for my boys rooms since I first saw it years ago. I could never justify the cost. One part of that is that they are getting to an age where they want more and more input on their rooms. It would break my heart to have to take this wallpaper down! I redecorated Johns room when he was in an American Revolution phase. I cracked up one day when he said “but what if we changed this all up! and did star wars!!”… So phases go and come quickly. Though he will always love history, I’m certain of it! I’m happy to report we have not gone full star wars, but we did put glow in the dark stars on his ceiling, and we’ve got plenty of star wars touches.
I bought a sample of Brunschwig & Fils Battle Of Valmy 1792 wallpaper last summer, and it just kept staring at me begging me to do something with it – especially if I wasn’t going to wallpaper his room like I first intended.
So I did the next best thing (not to mention budget friendly) option, and had the sample framed. I’ve used framebridge for years, and I have loved seeing them expand their framing and matting option. It just gets better and better! For this project I used the frame Kyoto, and was thrilled they had a striped mat option. For the striped mat, I picked their royal blue cabana stripes. I love how it turned out, and thankfully, he does too! It was just what the room needed! That blank wall had been blank for too long!
ps: if you need some boys bedroom inspiration, I have a post with lots HERE.

BRYNN WIDE DRESSER
We love this dresser! The bigger the boy, the bigger the dresser you need. This one holds a ton!
