Due to some political unrest in Bangkok the trip to Thailand has been canceled. Better safe than sorry!  We are both bummed but JB is particularly.  Y’all were so helpful when i asked what to do on facebook.  Thank you!! We’ve decided on South Africa in July – we will head to Johannesburg, Ulusaba & Zambia. We’re going on a three day safari with some serious glamping thrown in, touring Johannesburg, and staying at Victoria Falls where apparently Giraffes and Zebras just hang, you know, outside your door. Never in a million years would I think I’d be headed to Zimbabwe.  Right?  Just crazy and really exciting.  Still, we are very due for a little holiday just the two of us.  So trying to sort out what to do for a long weekend in February to tide us over.  Any recommendations?  Unexplored spots in Florida?  Hotels you love?  Quick flights?  I haven’t planned a trip on my own in a while and feel a bit rusty.
