Our playroom got a HUGE upgrade.  The new Bradley Sectional from Coley Home in Ringo Bay!  We bought our new chairs in the living room from Coley earlier  this year – you can read our first experience here.  This room has gone through a lot of transformations.  When we first moved in until 2019- it remained as is.  a very dark room with a single light… a spotlight.  Let’s just say that the Realtor was smart not to have us enter through this door, but to start at the front door.   Because this room could have been a deal breaker!  It’s the only room in the house that’s not part of the original home, and it was added on in the 70s.  Think paneled walls, weird dropped down ceiling, a fireplace that wasn’t in use… honestly for the time of having a baby and a toddler, it worked.  Anything went in this room because we knew it would be our first major renovation.  In 2019 when we first went to San Sebastián, we had our contractors demo the room, and they set out to finish it during our stay in Spain.  We had French doors put in place of the fireplace, new windows, lights, etc.  In 2020 we moved our RH couches in here.  We bought them 8 years ago, but neither of us ever really loved them.  Despite us spending what was a small fortune for them.  They were pretty much indestructible, so again – perfect for that time in our life.

But now our boys are 8 and 10, and we think they can handle nice things… at least a whole lot better than when they were younger.  They are also transitioning to more outdoor toys, board games, and let’s be honest – Nintendo.  Don’t get me wrong we’ve got plenty of Army men and nerf items – but it’s far less than it once was.  So now was the time to upgrade!  One of the things I love about Coley Home is that lead times are not crazy at all!  We ordered these about 6 weeks ago, and they were delivered right on time.  I feel like since 2020, that just never happens with furniture anymore.  They are also made in America, which is fantastic!  I chose the Ringo Bay fabric because it’s a performance material, and while we haven’t had it long, I can already tell it is amazing quality.   The Southern Living article described my style as, Traditional-meets-approachable aesthetic and I think that’s just what the Bradley Sectional is for us!  With two boys, a puppy dog that’s favorite spot is the couch, friends and family frequenting our home… we need something that can hold up great, and a couch that welcomes everyone in.  The Bradley Sectional is incredibly comfortable.  That room used to be a pain point of mine, but now I can’t get enough of it.  In fact I’m writing this while I watch the boys play soccer out of the French doors.  It’s just the coziest spot.
