It’s so funny how you get used to something in your home.  I had put Ikea drapes up in this room 7 years ago when we first moved in, and while I did change the curtain rod last year, nothing had been done since.  They were great curtains – and you’ll still find ikea curtains in my home.  It’s hard to make a decision on drapes, and it’s an investment.  But wow – I am soooo glad I finally did.  Another thing that makes picking out drapes for our home somewhat difficult, is that very few non custom drapes work.  Every window is slightly different – all handmade nearly 100 years ago.  Our walls aren’t standard height either.  So custom is the best way to go, to get the right fit for our home.  I loved the fabric Pepper had, but I was truly blown away when we received them.  Getting peeks of this fabric throughout the day have me smiling, and have made this house feel so much more like a home.  The quality is incredible, and I am excited about using more Pepper in our house.  I ended up going with the pinch pleat because I love the look, but there are other styles, and widths.
