By now you likely know I’m somewhat obsessed with Easter. Spring time makes me giddy. Remember last years egg hunt? Debating on doing one this year! But with Wesleys birthday coming up we may be a little crazy around here.
To get us in the spirit, I start reading the boys all of our Easter books. I think the berenstain bears one is a good one. Both boys are glued to it, and it teaches kids that the easter candy isn’t bad, but the real reason is Jesus’ resurrection. I’ll start the resurrection eggs closer to that special Sunday. I found these at a thrift store randomly last year and loved doing them with the kids. It’s a fun and tangible way to tell the story of Jesus. Anyway, hope this post helps you fill your basket for your little ones. We’ve got a month to go! And if not, last years post has a lot of ideas too.
