A few weeks ago, Alisia and Sarah Hunt and I visited Boca Grande. It’s about an hour and a half from my home, but a world away. I feel like every time I cross over the bridge to get out here, I am being transported to some island in the tropics. My heart rate slows, and I just immediately feel like I’m on island time. The Gasparilla Inn is hands down my favorite place to stay when I’m on the island. It’s literally my happy place! Every corner is decorated to perfection, but it’s not uptight – it’s comfortable and approachable luxury accommodations. 
It actually closes down for a bit during the summer months. Then opens back up in the fall. So if you are interested in going, I would book in advance as it can quickly get booked up!

The town of Boca Grande is picture perfect! So much to see, so colorful, and just a feast for the eyes. I love how bright and happy everything is!
Main mode of transportation: Golf Carts! I love to see how people deck out their golf carts here. They are the cutest I’ve ever seen!

When you are staying at the Inn you also have access to the beach club. It has a pool, cafe, spots for lounging under cover, or out near the gorgeous beach.

This post is also alternatively titled – my vacation wardrobe! We shot a ton down there, and had fun doing it. But seriously, get yourself down to Boca Grande. Whenever people message me about where they should go in Florida- BG is always my first response. It’s still hanging on to that old Florida feel, and I couldn’t love it more. Can’t wait to get back to The Gasparilla Inn & Club!
