Molly’s Texas sheet cake and chocolate chip cookies are THE BEST!
found these vases at the dollar spot at target!
A few weekends ago Molly and I hosted a small gender reveal party for my sister in law and brother! We’re soooooo excited for a little boy to arrive this November. Cannot wait! We were all dying to find out what they were having. When we were looking up decor inspiration we found it a little challenging – everything seemed so over the top. So we settled in on mainly just blue and pink as our guide, with vintage baby touches throughout. They found out the gender by hitting a blue golf ball! We ended up rearranging the tables to create more distance between the two. It was a special night – the room was all lit up by candlelight and there was lots of laughter and excitement! We can’t wait for baby to be here (:
Below are the links to the sources, but if I have left anything out, you can always message me on IG or email me.
Chargers: I love these handprinted ones by Lauren Haskell Designs. They come in a bunch of different colors. For the middle plates, we used these Crate and Barrel ones.
Napkins: We used blue and pink Honey & Hank napkins. I love how it’s a hydrangea but uses all of the states to design it. I have the blue hydrangeas in pillows!
Flowers: We got them at Publix and Trader Joe’s. Hooray for Peony season! We used these oasis forms. After dunking them in water, we put the taper candles in the middle, and then poked the flowers through. They held up pretty well! But the hydrangea was a bit trickier. I’d recommend if you are doing hydrangeas with these oasis forms to wait until the day of the party, just a few hours before.
For the fireplace: We borrowed some adorable vintage vases (of a baby carrier and a rocking horse) from Grace, and put a boy knit hat and a little girls bonnet on stands on either side.
Napkins and cups: Tammy made the napkins and cups! She can create any design you can dream up! Like even a Star Wars party!
