Something I have wanted to share for a while now are my go-to gifts for women. I know Mother’s Day has passed, but I wanted to create a timeless list that you could refer back to, whether it’s for a thank you gift, birthday present, or a little surcee. After a lot of thought, I’ve narrowed it down to my top 20 gift ideas. These are items that are wonderful for any woman – a mom, neighbor, sister, colleague, teacher, or girlfriend!
Tried-And-True Gifts
Every gift on this list is a tried-and-true favorite. It includes ones I have both happily given and excitedly received. And I’m recommending each of these for good reasons. Simply put, they’re wonderful!
In order to decide which gift to give, there are a few things that I always like to think about. This includes what season of life the recipient is in, their current interests, their favorite colors, and any personal tidbits or special stories we share together. It’s always nice to add a little something personal or sentimental, and many of the gifts on this list can have a custom touch. You can check out this previous post for even more personalized gift ideas for her!
20 Go-To Gifts for Women
Without further ado, let’s dive on in! Here are my top 20 go-to gifts for women.
Personalized Boat Tote
First up, a personalized boat tote. I love gifting these with her monogram, a fun nickname, or a cheeky saying embroidered on the front. My sister recently gave me one that said “Momager”, which I thought was hilarious! These bags are so helpful, fit everything, and are such a classic style.
Joy Creative Shop Gifts
Joy Creative Shop has some wonderful gift options. I especially like gifting their notepads, which you can customize with specific “to do’s” relevant to the recipient’s life. SARAHT10 will get you 10% off!
Dutch Oven
A nice dutch oven in their favorite color is my go-to gift for a housewarming or to gift as something extra special for a person who loves to cook. You could pair it with one of The Defined Dish cookbooks!
Cashmere Wrap or Cape
An Alice Walk cashmere wrap or a wool/cashmere cape make great gifts. I have given both several times. Not only are they soft, high-quality, and useful, but you don’t need to know the recipient’s size! I wear my cape on every long haul travel day, and the wrap is perfect to throw over your shoulders for a night out.
Coffee Table Books
One of my girlfriends and I always give each other a new coffee table book for Christmas. It’s so fun seeing what we come up with each year! I always love picking one out as a gift, and I inscribe the inside with a little note. I have a whole post on my favorite coffee table books. You also can’t go wrong with my favorite Slim Aaron’s book.
Papier Notebook
Years ago, my girlfriend gave me a personalized Papier notebook, and I’ve been giving Papier ever since. They have journals for chefs, better sleep, you name it! I tend to just get a blank or dotted notebook. I especially love their little set of three notepads. I like to inscribe them based on the recipient’s interests. Personally, I use mine as a running to do list!
Toiletry Bag & Beauty Products
I bought my mom one of these Beth Ladd toiletry bags for Mother’s Day, and I was so impressed with the design and quality. As a gift, I like to fill a toiletry bag with my go-to beauty products. This could be a post on its own, but here are the main ones that I’ve repurchased too many times to count: G Tox Shampoo Mask, Clarin’s Depuffing Mask, this lip plumper mask, (I usually use this an hour before I start doing my make up for a special day/night), tinkle razors, the best $9 hair oil, and of course, my favorite eye masks.
Teleties Flat Clip
An under $15 gift that is life changing is the Teleties flat clips. Everyone loves them so much that they can barely keep them in stock!
Beaded Necklace
I love the Alys necklace so much that, at this point, I think every one of my friends has one (: It’s so good! They are a great price point, and I rarely take mine off. Plus, they’re also great for layering. I own the beaded cross version as well as the plain version in all different colors!
Kitchen Gifts
When I’m stumped, I reach for something like fancy olive oil, paper napkins, my favorite cheese knives, a bottle of wine, or a fresh herb plant in a pretty vessel.
Ugg Slippers
My sister-in-law gave me these Ugg slippers for my birthday, and I wear them around the house every day. They are so comfortable and cozy. So cozy, in fact, that my kids will often borrow them to wear around the house!
Pretty Orchid
Something I love to receive just as much as I love to give is a pretty orchid. Bonus points if you take the time to cover the bottom and the connector parts in moss! Tip…you can use a hot glue gun to attach moss!
ChappyWrap Blanket
My collection of ChappyWraps is a little out of control. I bring mine on the the boat for chillier evenings, wrap up in them at the baseball and soccer fields, and of course, cuddle in them around home.
Mason Pearson Brush
While a Mason Pearson brush is $$$, there’s just nothing like it! I carry mine in all of my purses, so I like this smaller size. It would make a such great gift!
LAKE Pajamas
There’s a good reason Lake Pajamas is always on everyone’s list. They are so soft, the quality is excellent, and they truly make a great gift! While I always love to gift the pima bundle, I’ve also found myself reaching for the dream modal pieces lately!
Sleep Favorites
I’ve previously shared some of my sleep hygiene favorites, all of which would make great gifts. Two that are at the top of my list, especially when traveling, are my Drowsy sleep mask and my travel pillow.
Framed Photo
A framed photo is always a wonderful gift option. I love to do this with Addison Ross because the frames are gorgeous and because they will print the photo for you. Plus, their wrapping is beautiful! It makes for a thoughtful gift in a pinch.
Sporty Sweaters
For the sporty girls, I love to gift these Renwick Sweaters. They have options for golf, tennis, pickleball, and general sports! You can get 20% off with code SARAH20.
Personalized Cocktail Napkins
You really can’t go wrong with pretty cocktail napkins! A go-to gift with a personal touch!
LED Light Therapy Mask
An LED light therapy mask is a luxury gift worth the splurge. I first bought mine in 2020, and it makes a huge difference when I use it consistently. You can get 10% off this CurrentBody mask with code SARAHMASK! I love this one because it straps on and it’s portable, so I can walk around in it.
