When we first looked at our house there were a lot of things that charmed me … one of those things was this adorable little built in medicine cabinet in our guest rooms bathroom.  It’s so perfect for storing essentials for guests. I’ve always tried to stuff it with all the things they may need, and a few little luxuries too.
If you’re interested in seeing our guest room, you can find that post here!
weezie sent us these adorable plush towels! They are incredibly soft, and I love that they can be personalized. The make up towels (the ones with the eyelashes) are perfect for guests.
On the right side we’ve got …
Treat yo self section: Eye masks, foot masks, face masks, and the rose line from pixi c/o
Essentials:Â toothpaste and tampons
A Candle and matches – the hearth & hand ones are my favorite!
On the right side we’ve got:
Remedies:Â tums, bandaids, essential oils, advil, little trial packets of medicine, vapocool cough drops, etc.
hair care:Â we have some in the shower of course, but here is some more options.
nail care:Â emery board, nail clippers, nail polish remover, and nail polish
baby shampoo and lotion
a kumquat arrangement in a vase – b/c that’s needed (; my mom has always put something living in every room of the house when someone is visiting… so I follow in her footsteps (:
hydration station:Â brazilian bum bum cream, ahava hand cream, and rose hydrating mist
As Kate Spade said: “making your guests feel at ease is the essence of etiquette”. That’s something I always keep in mind when we have guests over – whether it’s for a quick play date, or an overnight.
By their bedside I usually have magazines, waters, snacks, a chocolate bar, a notepad with a pen, and some fresh flowers.
What ways do you make your guests feel at ease? I’d love more ideas to make my fam and friends stay the most pleasant (:
