I’ve spent the better part of an hour pouring through the past years photos.  I miss every stage of wesley’s first year.  Every stage had its own thing that may have driven me a bit crazy, but what do I remember overall?  how sweet this year has been.  

 We blinked!  Wesley is one today!  I kept telling JB all through out the night last night – this is around when my water was breaking, this is when I was in labor, etc. Lassssst year, this time, Jb!  (: And then at 1 in the morning that precious child made his debut.  I still remember the nurse putting him in my arms and beaming!  I was so in love and did not sleep a wink, due to staring.

From the first gaze, I fell head over heels for him.  He’s been just what our family needed.  No one else would do!  I couldn’t love being his number one girl more.

We had our challenges this first year (congested every night until the clouds opened at 6 months // colds tuck and his buddies from school that have passed onto wes) but wes really is a dreamboat of a baby.  He’s been a great eater, easy to soothe, content, and interested right from the get-go.  JB and I say way too many times how amazing wes is.  He’s cuddly, strong, determined, an observer, smart, and so so lovable.   

We love you more than we could ever express and we hope to show you just how much every day we get with you!  Happy first birthday sweet baby!!!
