We are big joovy fans around here! We’ve bought and loved the spoon walker (the best looking walker out there), the caboose (see it in action in Rome), wesley’s bike helmet , and the trycoo (wes loves getting pushed in this around the neighborhood). So I was excited when Joovy sent us the Scooter x2 to review. Tuck liked the caboose until he suddenly wanted to relax in the front one instead of ride in the back. Since getting the scooter x2 we have taken it on a lot of adventures – Busch Gardens, Disney, lots of walks around the neighborhood, museums, along the riverwalk, and our first family 5k.
Here’s some things I really appreciate about it:
- It’s easy to put together. I put it together in under 30 minutes. That’s saying something (;
- Sooo much storage! It’s the best.
- The little pockets on the back are great for storing your keys, phone, and anything you think you’d need quickly. Plus the drink holders are great. I don’t have a lot of experience with other strollers other than the caboose and the bob. But with the bob you have to buy all of the extras. I appreciate that these extras come with the stroller.
- It’s easy to break down. You just twist the top and it folds.
- The canopy is enormous and perfect for Florida.
- The little peekaboo window at the top is great for checking on them. Particularly when they are nearing a nap!
- They come in a lot of fun colors which is perfect for somewhere like Disney as most of the strollers are black or the beige ones you can rent from disney. I could find mine quickly!
- It fits in most doors which surprised me.
- The seats can go pretty close to flat for nap time. Tuck napped a couple hours in it at Disney thanks to this feature.
- good for ages 3 months and up!
I can’t honestly compare it to any other side by side stoller, as I’ve only seen them, and not tested them out. But I would say it’s a great value (currently $216 on amazon), and my kids love it. It doesn’t move like the bob, but it’s also not a jogging stroller. It’s been a great stroller for us! If you have any questions about this stroller, I’m happy to answer in the comments or over email.
**Stroller c/o Joovy. I was not paid to write this post but was given the scooter x2 to provide an honest review. Thanks for supporting my blog and reading!
