wearing Rothy’s – which I love, and plan on doing a review soon!
still working on styling these – I have no real clue how to do it! think I need some height. But one thing is for sure The Georgia scent from Southern Bungalow is a must. Whenever I’m having company and need my whole house to smell like heaven, I light this one up.
We bought a new coffee table, and now the living room feels a bit more put together. Never mind that the artwork above the couch has switched around since these photos were taken last week. haha (: I’m always moving things around. That’s the way my mom was growing up, and still is. I wanted to show you the listing photos from six years ago when we were looking at the house. It reminds me when I think we have a long way to go, that we’ve done a lot to this room! Painted, retiled the fireplace, new lighting. When I say “we” I mostly mean my husband and dad. But someone’s gotta tell them which paint, tile, and light! Below I’m going to try to source everything I can – but if it’s not sourced it may be out of stock or something I found at a thrift store. Always happy to answer questions though!
Coffee table: Wisteria – but now out of stock 🙁
side chairs: Wayfair – I bought these both using wayfairs “out of the box” specials – which sends returns instead of brand new ones. Sometimes they offer this, and we were pleasantly pleased with how new they both were.
rug c/o: Annie Selke “marled” rug
mirror: Target
large clam in fireplace: I found mine at home goods a few years ago, but this one looks similar though may be a bit smaller
couch: I took a gamble on this one from Lamps Plus of all places… They don’t have the off white but they do have the grey in stock. For the price it really is a wonderful couch, and super comfy.
Bookshelf: We found these at Wayfair about 5 years ago, and I still love them. I have them in Jb’s office too.
Art over the couch of the boys: Jordan Connelly
Pretty much everything on the shelves: From a thrift store. Though this watercolor of our house is by Art Accent
pillows: Honey and Hank c/o
Lighting: Rh baby and child … if you’re in an old home and don’t have super high ceilings, RH baby and child is a good place to look for less expensive lighting that still works in your room.
Lamps: One is safavieh from Amazon and the blue and white one I found at a thrift store. It’s one of my favorite finds!
Curtains: Linen from Ikea
Hope you enjoyed this little tour of our living room!
