We love trifles around here. JB made one for mother’s day brunch in my big trifle bowl along with the yummiest quiche I’ve ever tasted. But I love these mini personal trifle bowls for when you don’t need to make but a couple servings. If we’re using them as dessert, I make homemade whip cream but for breakfast it’s greek yogurt as the filler. Layers are as follows: greek yogurt, blueberries, a little sneaky bee pollen, greek yogurt, strawberries and topped with granola. I think these would be perfect if you had company over for memorial day weekend or even for breakfast in bed for father’s day. The napkin above is from Kohls food network line – I love that print. It’s so fresh and current but classic. Kohl’s is giving away $500 every week starting today until July 6th so you can stock your kitchens full of their favorite Food Network products. To enter you simply just use the hashtag #cookwithKohls and tag @kohls via twitter or instragam.
be sure to include this week’s theme: Summer Grilling
from favorite grilling recipes (jb is a pro!) to the battle between charcoal vs gas (jb chooses charcoal!)
Kohl’s wants to hear about it (:
