The holidays can be hard in ways that feel so surprising because it should be such a joyous time of year. And I think at the root of that can be the expectations we cling to, even when it’s not healthy for us. I encourage everyone to just give liberally, ungrudgingly, and intentionally, with no expectations. As long as you’re doing that, you can feel great about what you give.
