when thinking about decorating my house I always go back to a card that came inside a furbish package years ago…

and so it is with me and french bistro chairs…
If we get our house (inspection is today! prayers!!) I have a new little nook that I have no furniture for. Actually I will have so many nooks that will be bare for a while but this one is getting the bulk of my thoughts at the moment. The formal dining room is next to the kitchen but then there’s this great little breakfast nook that is attached to the kitchen and opens out to the patio. When I think of that space I keep going back to what I’ve always loved – the bistro chairs you spy all over france. Love that they can easily go outside and inside and that I could hose them down occassionaly since we have one very messy eater around here. (;
And I like that if we ever wanted to change up that space, they could find a home on the patio.
And so begins my search for the perfect (inexpensive!) bistro chair.
While I love the look of everything from the new Riviera collection from Serena and Lily, it’s outside of my budget. So I went in search of cheaper options. I’m currently waiting for these to come back in stock (making it $125 per chair vs this one at $245 per chair). But if you love the all white look –and I do- just wouldn’t quite work in this space – then these (in stock!) would be perfect.
