During our October 2025 fall break, we took advantage of a few days off from school (and soccer) and headed two hours south to The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. It’s one of Florida’s most iconic luxury beach resorts and also made my list of the top 10 places to stay in Florida, so we were all thrilled to sneak away there for a few days!
I had visited a few years ago for a girls’ trip, but that was before the recent renovation. While it was a wonderful stay then, the updates have taken it to a whole new level. Plus, this time I had the joy of showing my family around—which made it even more special.
Today I’m sharing all about our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples—from the rooms and restaurants to the pools and spa. If you’re considering an upcoming Florida getaway, keep reading for all the details!
Rooms at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples
Let’s dive right in, starting with the resort’s rooms and suites. As I mentioned, since my last visit, the resort has completed a full renovation, and I was so excited to see the updated design. It was just as beautiful as I imagined!
Our room at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples felt calm and luxuriously appointed. The views of the Paradise Coast from the balcony were truly unmatched. While we didn’t spend a ton of time in the room, it was such a relaxing and beautiful spot to unwind and get ready in. I especially loved the vanity for doing my makeup—it even had all the plugs built right in!
The Ritz-Carlton, Naples Club Lounge
The Club Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples is hands down the best club level we’ve ever experienced. We usually opt for this upgrade—especially now that the boys are older and constantly hungry! It’s so nice to be able to grab snacks, drinks, and sample the different offerings throughout the day.
A few things really stood out to me about this club. After you’re greeted upon arrival, you’re actually escorted back to the Lounge to complete the check-in process. I was able to get us settled while my dad grabbed a quick snack before our spa treatments.
The space itself is huge—the largest Club Lounge I’ve seen! There’s a dedicated children’s area (where my boys watched a movie one night), plenty of cozy lounge spots, a private room with a TV that’s perfect for watching sports, and even a full bar.
And the food offerings were fantastic! The team was also incredibly accommodating of my dad, who is gluten-free. During the few hours each day when the Club Lounge is closed, there’s a grab-and-go station stocked with water, sodas, coffee, and plenty of snacks. It was great!
If you enjoy a nightcap, be sure to stop by for one. We grabbed a gin and tonic from Mike, their excellent bartender, one evening and loved it. He has his specialties, but he’s happy to make you anything you’d like.
Is the Club Lounge Worth It?
When deciding whether the added expense of a club lounge is worth it, I always consider how much time we’ll spend at the resort, what the offerings include, and—let’s be honest—how much my boys are eating at the moment! For us, The Ritz-Carlton, Naples Club Lounge was one of the best we’ve ever experienced… if not the best!
Dining at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples
There are seven dining options at this resort, plus a coffee house and an all-natural dining spot in the spa. During our stay, we enjoyed dinners at two of the resort’s restaurants and ordered a beachside lunch from another.
Sofra
Sofra was our first night’s dinner—and it was delicious. This Mediterranean restaurant features a menu full of shareable small plates. I loved the crudités, hummus, and sea bass tagine. I always order labneh if it’s on the menu, so I was thrilled to see it offered here. Everything was so fresh and flavorful!
While Sofra is definitely an upscale dining experience, it’s located near the pools, so it still feels casual enough for kids to join in, too.
Dusk
We also had dinner at Dusk, the resort’s Asian-fusion restaurant. I remembered how much I enjoyed the sushi during my last visit and couldn’t wait to go back!
Last time, there was dancing—and my girlfriends and I had the best time. This visit, we were a little too early for that (and my kids are far too young anyway!), but we still had such a great evening. We shared several sushi rolls and appetizers between us all, and everything was delicious.
Must order: the Volcano Roll!
Entertaining Kids During Dinner
For both dinners, the boys were able to pop over to the arcade after ordering. They loved being able to play for a few minutes while waiting for their meals to arrive. Everything at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples is in close proximity, so letting them know when the food was ready was just a short walk away—a definite perk for families!
Gumbo Limbo
We also ordered from Gumbo Limbo for a beachside lunch, and it was wonderful. I had the chickpea burger, which was so good! I love when you can order and enjoy your meal right on the beach—it truly doesn’t get any better than that!
The Ritz-Carlton, Naples Spa
You know I love visiting a resort spa, and I had the best experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples one during my last stay—so I knew I wanted to return!
For this trip, my dad and I came down early and booked massages to kick off the vacation. I had so much fun walking out afterward and seeing my dad all happy and relaxed. He’s officially a spa man now!
There’s a beautiful mineral pool with plenty of lounge chairs near the treatment rooms. In the women’s and men’s areas, you’ll also find relaxation lounges, steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools, and even cold plunges.
It’s truly such a great spa. My only regret? Not booking a Reformer Pilates class at the gym. I only had a chance to peek my head in, but it looked so nice!
Beach Access at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples
It’s actually pretty rare to find a great hotel in Florida that’s just steps from the beach. The other places I’ve stayed in Naples have a much longer walk to reach the sand—which is fine now that my kids are older, but when they were little, it was much harder!
At The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, you’re right by the water, and the beach service is excellent. They provide a full beach umbrella setup, which is such a nice touch. And their sunsets are out of this world!
You can also rent banana boats, SUPs, paddleboards, kayaks, and boogie boards right on the beach. The convenience and thoughtful service here are just a few of the reasons this resort earned a spot on my list of the top 10 places to stay in Florida.
Pools at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples
If beaches aren’t your thing, no problem—the resort has two pools: one adults-only and one family pool. I’m sure you can guess which one we hung out at!
We rented a cabana one day, and it was so nice to have our own bathroom. It was also refreshing to have a cool, shaded spot to relax on a hot day, and it came fully stocked with snacks and drinks.
Near the pool area, there’s a large grassy space with tons of games. My boys played them all—and even managed to fit in a few rounds of soccer, of course!
And if your family loves water slides and lazy rivers, you can take the resort’s complimentary shuttle to their Tiburón property, which has both. We’ve stayed at that Ritz-Carlton as well, and it’s especially wonderful for golfing.
Ritz Kids
While our boys didn’t visit Ritz Kids this time, we did peek our heads in—and it looked great! I love how the activities change daily, each with a different theme inspired by Florida’s wildlife and ecosystem. We love an educational and fun kids’ club like this one. It’s worth looking into if you’re traveling with little ones!
Things to do in Naples
In addition to dining, swimming, and enjoying the spa, there are so many fun things to do in Naples. I actually dedicated an entire blog post to the topic, so be sure to check it out if you’re planning a trip to the area. From shopping and golfing to taking an Everglades tour or visiting the zoo, there’s no shortage of great activities to enjoy.
Our Experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples
The Ritz-Carlton, Naples was such a great choice for our fall break! We felt so lucky to be able to escape just a couple of hours from home and fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of October on the Florida coast.
Between the Club Lounge, the amazing spa, the delicious restaurants, and those gorgeous nightly sunsets, it was a place all three generations enjoyed. We left feeling completely refreshed—in the best way. It’s no surprise to me that this is Naples’ #1 luxury beach resort. We can’t wait to visit again!
