A couple things I’ve picked up for our trip (some of these I owned already!) …
For travel days — I love j.crews slub tee’s, and these bryson wash jeans with the raw hem are still my fave. I am constantly washing them, so I can re-wear them. With my trusty new balances.
For the way home (or the way there)… another j.crew slub tee … the one I own that’s identical to this is zara (for $8!). + My athleta pants (c/o) are actually on sale, and are great for plane days.
for the beach – I love aerie’s bathing suits. They’re at such a great price point, and they fit. I do feel a little embarrassed going in there because I feel like I should be a teen. But the fabrics are great and I love the cuts. I bought this one piece and this two-piece. I also bought 5” inseam shorts from old navy, and a little crop top for beach days on an impulse from aerie. this asos shirred dress is so similar to one I bought from j.crew last year. perfect for a coverup. Love the new Universal Thread line at Target… especially these shoes are so neutral- they go with anything and perfect for a tropical vacation. This Mar y Sol tote is probably the one coming with me … though I may bring the petunia pickle bottom fair trade tote. Also I am bringing with me a couple cabana life tunics and rashguards for long boat days.
for lunches/dinner or exploring the island — I’ve heard it’s pretty casual everywhere, but I still plan on dressing up a little bit one night.
This Shoshanna dress – I’m still doing rent the runway unlimited (I need to do an update on the post), and this dress seemed great for a casual dinner out. I also rented this halston heritage white dress which will be perfect at the end of the week when I have a little color.
I always love to bring a smaller purse (like the capri crossbody from St. Armands Designs) + a little clutch (like the bamboo one from J.McLaughlin (c/o).
I LOVE this tencel jumpsuit from Old Navy. It’s super soft, and comfortable. Could even be worn on a travel day.
The heels are also from J.McLaughlin – love the woven texture. They’ll go with everything, and I always think a block heel supports me well… when I have to do heels!
This pink maxi from H&M is a little see through… so you’d need a little slip underneath. But it’s such a pretty color and in that breathable gauze.
The Tongsai palm shift from J.McLaughlin (c/o) is one I’ve had my eyes on.
I thought these gingham pull on shorts with their top (currently $10 after sale code).
Below also links some of the above + others i’ve been eyeing.
