Our Plate Wall
I still need to post all of the details of our kitchen renovation, but for now, I’m excited to share our plate wall! We put this in a spot that it fit just right. An otherwise empty little corner, that we could have put some art in, but it had some depth to it. So this has worked out perfectly! And obviously, I’m a huge plate fan (: ! We used beadboard as the back, and have it in other areas of the kitchen. To me, it felt true to the 1920’s – when this old home was built!
I use these little acrylic stands I found on amazon to secure them. So far, so good! I do eventually plan to add a little brass rod to hold them in place a bit more securely. But for now, these are working.
I’m excited to change these out seasonally as well. I’m already dreaming up some fun for this nook for the holidays!
Linking all of the plates you find here, just below.
AERIN SCALLOPED PLATES
JB and the boys bought me these Aerin plates for mother’s day in 2018, and they’ve since made charger sized ones.
SOUTHERN LIVING PLATES
JB and the boys bought me these from Dillards for Mother’s day this year. They complement this area so well.
