My relationship with time has always been tenuous. But now I know I’ll never be anywhere near comfortable with time again. Dang
time! I mean how is my baby seven (and a half) months old already! And oh Tuck, You think you are a year old
lately. Waving hi to people, pulling yourself up to stand on anything
that will do, and giving me my very first kiss from you. which had me
melting into a puddle of mush. These pictures were taken during one of
our many play times yesterday. He is starting to play on his own! It’s the cutest. Playing mostly, but I also catch him making sure I’m watching. I
love seeing him go through his toys. Figuring out how his trucks and
cars work. I can just see his mind at work “wheels! these things are
FUN”. He is 100% boy. Though I wish he was a little more cautious. He just goes for it. Crawling? oh sure. Trying to stand? he’s not afraid! Fearless Tuck = holding my breath scared mama.

Ohhhh and his little booty shaking when we turn up the music.
Y’all, it’s too much. Watching him interact with Lola cracks me up into
pieces. He thinks she is so funny (not just funny looking, which is true too). He loves
petting her, and he’ll just squeal and giggle at the things she does.
It makes my little mama heart so happy that they love each other. If
you could peek into our home these days, you’d see my eyes transfixed on my
son; wide, with a grin.

I will always count this time with him among my
greatest treasures. and as a privilege.
