Last weekend we were invited down to the The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón not too far from our home.  We have baseball every Friday night in the spring, and we were just craving a little staycation with the four of us.  So Saturday morning we got up bright and early and headed down to Naples.  It ended up being such a great little 24 hour getaway!  We golfed as a family, we ate great food, and we explored their latest water park. 

I love a little family golf outing.  The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón is right on the golf course, a few miles from the Ritz Carlton right on Naples beach front.  This property though is great for golf vacation of course!   We golfed the gold course during this trip.  They also gave us the family cart, which was fun!  We normally have to take two carts, so the family cart was a first.  So perfect for us!  

While The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón is known for it’s golf vacations, it’s also a perfect spot for a family vacation due to the new water park.  It’s expansive – It has three slides, a splash pad, and a lazy river.  We all had fun there, and really enjoyed it!  

For dinner we ate at Ria which is right on the golf course, but also next to the water park, and a little putting green.  It was so delicious!  Ria is Peruvian inspired, and the spices were so good!  While everything was tasty, if you were heading down to The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón and eating at Ria, I would recommend the corn, the poleta,and the red snapper.  

After dinner we sat out by the putting green – boys did lots of putting, and we just enjoyed the beautiful sunset. We then got some tea and cookies from the club lounge before settling in for the night.  

Speaking of the club lounge, it was such a nice treat.  It’s an added expense, and I know it’s always a question of if it’s worth it!  This one was quite large, with seating inside and then a nice terrace with a few tables on it.  There were four different offerings throughout the day, always beverages, and the cookies.  Oh the cookies – you have to try one!  They really are some of the best cookies out there.  

What to wear down in Naples?  Tropical, comfortable attire is perfect.  Here’s some of what I wore, and what I’d think would be perfect for a The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón trip!
