I’m beyond excited to announce that the Sail to Sable x Sarah and Molly collection is available to shop now! It has been a dream come true to design this capsule with my best friend and sister, Molly, and the wonderful Sail to Sable team. STS is a brand that my mom, sister, and I have loved for years. I’m still pinching myself that this capsule collection actually happened! Today I’m going to share more about this wonderful woman-owned business, highlight pieces from the resort collection, and answer a few commonly asked questions.
A Bit About Sail to Sable
I’ve had the pleasure of working with the inspiring women behind the Sail to Sable team for years. This women-owned small business launched in 2012, when founder Jennifer Stocker decided to leave her Manhattan publishing job to pursue her passion for sophisticated women’s resort wear. What started as a collection of timeless tunics expanded to include a variety of styles for women and children. Over the past decade Sail to Sable has grown beyond the East Coast into a national staple!

Why I Love Sail to Sable
I’ve been a fan of this brand since I first laid eyes on one of their tunics. I always love their classic and timeless styles. Plus, I appreciate that not only are their pieces beautiful, but they’re also comfortable and wearable, even with an active lifestyle. I also love that Sail to Sable clothing can be worn across generations. As I previously mentioned, not only do Molly and I wear it often, but our mom is a huge Sail to Sable fan. She always looks so beautiful in their clothing. Plus the pieces hold up incredibly well over time!
Beyond being an avid fan of their products, getting to know the women behind the business has made me love this brand even more. Their team is composed of women who are kind, passionate, hardworking, and inspiring. Being able to spend a few days with the Sail to Sable team and some of my closest friends at one of my favorite places will be a memory I will cherish forever.Â

STS x Sarah & Molly
Our retro resort capsule collection has been in the works for the past year, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out. These pieces were designed with our love of travel, old world prints and patterns, and colorful Florida lifestyle in mind. They offer an easy elegance to your vacation wardrobe, while also doubling as an everyday staple for your closet. These pieces were designed to be paired with neutral, natural fibers and woven accessories (hello raffia and wicker!) Our hope is that these sun-washed and serene hues make their way into your resort wear wardrobe and transport you to Boca Grande beach, no matter where you may be.

Shooting the Collection
Before diving into the individual pieces of our collection, I wanted to share a bit about the wonderful few days we spent shooting in Boca Grande. Not only were Molly and I joined by the amazing Sail to Sable team, but also our dear friends Brooke Jensen and Blaire Rogers, and our amazing photographer, Alisia Thompson. We were so excited to share one of our favorite places, The Gasparilla Inn, with everyone. We have experienced so many special events at this resort including my mom’s 70th birthday celebration (peep the Sail to Sable!) and Molly’s bridesmaid brunch. The entire trip was full of laughs, great chats, and inspiration – very much a “pinch me” moment!

Sail to Sable Retro Resort Pieces
Okay, now onto the fun part – highlighting each piece in our retro resort collection! A lot of time, thought, and love went into every little detail, and I hope you love it all just as much as we do!
Â
Green Eyelet Midi
With a flattering tie waist, puff sleeves, and a scalloped hemline, this dress has so many pretty details. Not to mention, it has pockets!Â
Mod Mini Dress
This Slim Aarons-inspired mod mini just might be my favorite. I love a classic shift dress, and the Gasparilla green wavy pocket and trim details take this one to the next level!
Hand-Painted Print Caftan
This caftan features a beautiful hand-painted print and unique button details. I love the versatility of this one, as it can easily go from the beach to a nice dinner with a change of shoes and accessories.
Scalloped Shorts Set
Speaking of versatility, this adorable shorts set has a ton of options. The top can be worn with the buttons and scallops facing the back or the front! Additionally, you can wear each of these pieces individually. The top looks great with white jeans or pants and I’ve been pairing the bottoms with a white top!
Eyelet Caftan
Last, but certainly not least, is another piece in this gorgeous eyelet fabric. This material is even more exquisite in person! I love the cut of this one. It’s so chic and can easily go from a casual brunch with friends to a fancy dinner out.
Your Questions, Answered
I’ve had a few people reach out with questions about our Sail to Sable collection, so I figured it might be helpful to address them all here.
- In what sizes are these pieces available? These styles come in sizes XXS-XXL.
- How do they fit? In my opinion, these pieces fit TTS. However, I would say that these pieces may be cut a little slimmer than typical Sail to Sable pieces, so keep this in mind if you are a returning shopper.
- Is this a limited-edition capsule? Yes! So if you see something you love, don’t wait!
- What are the price points? Pieces in the collection run from $248-298
- Where can I buy this collection? Pieces will be available to purchase on Sail to Sable, Dillards, and Tuckernuck.
- Is everything machine-washable? Yes, just be sure to hang to dry!
Complete the Look
All of these pieces pair perfectly with natural fibers, including raffia and wicker. So, it only seemed right that we should partner up with one of our favorite accessory brands. Lorna Murray! I am thrilled to share that there will be a Lorna Murray sun hat and mini beach tote available soon that compliment these Sail to Sable pieces. Plus, both items are neutral accessories, so they will look great with any resort, spring, or summer outfit!
Resort Capsule Collection
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all of the support and encouragement for this capsule collection, as well as in general. It wouldn’t have been possible without all of you. I hope these resort pieces make your day a little brighter, whether you’re wearing them for an upcoming vacation or a summer day around your hometown!
