Our final day in Cusco we went down to the San Pedro Market. I love markets, and always make a point to visit them wherever we go. It’ll always be a thrill for me. The one in Biarritz were incredible for such a small town. Oh, and don’t get me started about the ones in Marrakech. I always seem to gravitate toward the baskets, and bring at least one home. But I just love textiles, food, different packaging, and the general vibe found at markets. If you ever find yourself in Cusco, you can’t miss the San Pedro Market. It’s such a vibrant market – flowers, coffee, baskets, gorgeous textiles, lunch, a whole aisle of avocados… seriously, you name it, they have it. I could walk around for hours. It’s also very affordable. I found all of the above handmade Titicaca lake baskets for $76 USD. So if you’re in Cusco- go (: !
