A couple of small kitchen updates that have made a big impact on me loving this space. Â I found this sterling silver champagne bucket at a thrift store, and knew I wanted to use it to hold serving spoons, etc. Â
For mother’s day JB gave me these Aerin plates. Â Our everyday plates that were on our registry when we married are great, but they have fish on them. Â I’d rather save them for fish fry’s! Â The blue ones are sold out but the all white are not. Â
all of the bud vases are from thrift stores. Â Four of them are actually salt and pepper shakers but I took the tops off. Â We use this diffuser. Â My favorite morning time essential oils to diffuse are lime and orange. Â For witching hour – Stress Away it is (:
I switched up above the fridge with these fun tassel knobs.
I took this wreath off of our front door to replace with another  for summer.  I love it on the hood.  Â
For JB’s birthday present in February was a wine fridge to replace our never used trash compactor.
The previous owners redid this kitchen in 2005.  It’s been 12 years since then, and I think it still looks pretty good.  The color of the granite wouldn’t be my choice, but it could be way worse.  We aren’t planning on redoing the kitchen anytime soon … so this is a fun way to update it a little in the meantime.  For not too much money!  There’s still a few things I’m planning on doing in the coming months that I think will make a big impact.  I am looking to find a light fixture(currently it has some unfortunate looking track lighting) and we also plan to buy a brass faucet to replace this one.  Stay tuned (:
