I think
Heather got out the words “hi” when I started bawling crying because I knew what she was about to say back in the summer. Â “I’m pregnant!” Â … It makes me tear up just to think of it. Â Heather is the BEST, so it’s no surprise so many showed up to celebrate #AvasArriving ! Â They are going to make the most amazing parents. Â Did I mention they also moved home? Â It’s seriously a dream!!! Â We all have to pinch ourselves sometimes to know it’s not (;
Pretty much as soon as we knew, Shannie and I started (secretly) pinning for her shower.   We both managed not to tell her a thing about the shower, so it was fun how everything other than the invites was a surprise.  It was supposed to rain so I scratched the good weather plan of having much of it in the backyard.  But it ended up being a beautiful day with near perfect weather.  The morning of my neighbor was wondering what in the heck was going on as we sprinkled rose petals all over the place outside… haha…  I told him it’s basically like the royal baby is arriving.  (:  That’s how much anticipation is around #AvasArriving !!
Biggest thanks to Shannon for hostessing (for painting/photographing too!!!)  Heather’s shower with me – I seriously couldn’t have done it without you!!!
infused water was cucumber, strawberries and mint. Â delicious!
obsessed with that rose champagne! Â picked it up at total wine.
I contacted both mothers and had them send me pictures of when they were little. Â many they hadn’t seen before so it was fun going down memory lane (: Â and wondering of who Ava will favor.
 heathers reactions are the greattttest.  This is her entering the door.
Isn’t she incredibly gorgeous?! Â 37 weeks and looks like a TOTAL babe.
food: my mom made an incredible salad, and Anita (shannons mom) made her delicious scones, the rest was from Fresh Market and Trader Joes
