Completely ripped the heirloom pumpkin in the fireplace idea from the talented Julie Blanner. Her whole fall decor will get even those of us still feeling the heat of summer into the Fall spirit.
Last year JB and my dad redid the fireplace for my birthday. It had cracked black marble all over it, and it needed to go. We bought these marble subway tiles, and these hexagon marble tiles, and used grey grout. My dads neighbor has a wet saw, so we didn’t have to rent one. The whole project cost us under $250. Plus quite a bit of sweat from both my husband and dad. Thank you guys!! JB notices all of the little imperfections, but I think it looks great!
Hard to resist picking up a pumpkin every time I’m at the store now, the wartiest/ugliest ones are always my favorite.
