I’ve been cranking out gift guides for over a decade now, and somehow it’s become a part of my online and real life identity. (: My DM’s are lots of gift questions always but my text messages are filled with the same. I truly love giving a great thoughtful gift that makes the person feel loved. But personally, I don’t have it all together. I’m not always showing up with the perfect gift! There’s lots of gifts to give, all throughout the year … and sometimes I really over think it OR scramble at the last minute and go over budget. Which in my experience, from what I’ve heard from many of y’all, is that most of us fall somewhere within that spectrum. And that’s okay… sometimes we give this amazing gift, sometimes the receiver may be like whatttt is this … but in the end, it is the thought that counts.
So keep that in mind. I know we know that, but it’s true. With a little extra thought up front you can stay in budget, and make the person feel special.
