Ponte Vedra Inn & Club
Last time I went to Ponte Vedra Inn & Club the kids were so little! Â It’s a great spot for families – and I detailed that trip on this blog post.
This time we were there for JB’s executive physical with Mayo Clinic. Â A gift his parents gave him for turning 40. Â We were really impressed with the whole experience, and couldn’t believe how quickly results for everything came in. Â The clinic is a 10 minute drive from Ponte Vedra, so it’s a great spot to relax after testing.
Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is a beautiful spot! Â Whether you’re taking a couples trip like us, a family trip, golf trip, or girls getaway. Â They are a great destination for all of the above.
What to do while at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club
There are so many activities! Â We loved spending time on our terrace, that opened right up to the ocean. Â The beach is so expansive and beautiful. Â We went for walks morning and evening along the beach. Â Admiring all the shells and the beautiful beach side homes of Ponte Vedra.
I visited the spa twice while we were there. Â It’s such a fun atmosphere. Â A big spa pool out back, with a bar, and loungers. Â They also have a spa restaurant indoors, and the whole vibe is so relaxing. Â They also have indoor sauna, steam room, and hot tub. Loved my massage I had there!
JB golfed the ocean course and LOVED it. Â Ponte Vedra has some of the best golfing in the country, so it would make a great golf trip.
Daily they have workout classes you can attend. Â They have a state of the art gym that overlooks the ocean!
You can rent beach cruisers, surf boards, have a lounger and umbrella set up along the beach, boogie boards, etc.
They also have a huge racquet club. Â And let me tell you – it is an active one! Â Every morning I saw a bunch of people playing tennis and pickleball. Â No court went untouched!
So whether you are looking to relax, or stay active, or a mix of both – I think Ponte Vedra Inn & Club has that!
Where to Eat
We ate mostly on site at The Ponte Vedra Inn. Â All of the restaurants were delicious but my favorite was The Surf Deck. Â Loved their tahini hummus, and will be dreaming of it until I get back there. Â We loved watching the surfers while we caught a sunset!
We also ate off site at Palm Valley Fish Camp. Â Which is a great spot too!
Another one we didn’t try but wanted to – Smoke Valley. Â I hear their BBQ is so good!
Things for kids
While. we didn’t have kids this trip, I’m always thinking about what they’d be doing if they aren’t with us.
They have a kids camp, that looked very well organized and fun!
Daily Craft hours for kids to join in on.
Surfing and boogie boarding.
Shell collecting!
Tennis and golf lessons.
To me, Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is one of Florida’s best kept secrets! Â I loved our time there, and can’t wait to take the boys back one day.
