photo cred: tuck
I made a (cute) mistake and showed Tuck his costume on Monday when Halloween was on Saturday. Tuck wore it EVERY.WHERE beginning that moment.
It was especially funny when we visited JB’s new office. The one where he pulled the fire alarm the week JB was moving in. Insert big toothy yikes emoji here. We saw a bunch of people in JB’s office as we were leaving and they all cheered for the fire chief, and high fived, fist bumped, bash brothered, him for it. So I’d say he’s never gonna want to do that again or anything … ha.
We spent Halloween at Tucks soccer class, carving pumpkins, having my in-law’s over, trick or treating our neighbors and passing out candy. I could have trick or treated all night with Tuck. He loved it so so much and I just melted over “twick or tweat, peas!”. Our street gets really busy – people are out in the droves, some in decorated golf carts, and a couple shuttled around in cars (when did that become a thing?!). Tuck was in love with passing out candy. He’d open the door and go Boo! Then give out each person handfulls of candy. Generous little guy. We had to slow him down eventually so we didn’t run out. JB bought dry ice and we put it in our planters out front. So that was a big hit with the kids. Wesley missed most of the evening festivities since he goes to bed at seven these days. But he was such an adorable little dalmatian!!! Though Tuck kept telling me “no, no mama, he is a lambie”…
Hope you all had happy and safe halloween’s!
