Yesterday I asked for gift guide ideas, and I was blown away with the specific requests. It gave me a really good place to start. I wrote them down, tallied up which ones were most requested… and I’m going from there. I was also really touched by how many of you wrote to tell me that you love and use my gift guides. I know it gets gift guide crazy in the blogosphere – but I really try to be intentional and thoughtful about these, and I hope that shows.
So I thought the best place to start is with tried and true thoughtful gifts I’ve actually given (or received!). These all require a little extra time and thought to get them to your mailbox and in the hands of your loved ones. But it’s worth it! Later in the year I can’t add most of these to my gift guides because the ordering cut off for these custom gifts is earlier. This is no amazon prime two day shipping kinda gift guide … though that’s probably coming at you later in December.

- Generations photo print – I gave this to my father in law two years ago. I gathered pictures of each John Bullock (there are four) – and had it made in black and white.
- Le Papier Studio Silhouette ornament – This is the perfect gift for your parents or in-laws. (There’s a sale going on right now -with code CHEER20 for 20% off until the 20th!)
- Le Papier Studio Silhouette Necklace – This is the best gift for a new mom. Requires some sleuthing to manage to get that side profile pic of their kid without them knowing but it’s such a sweet and special gift. I honestly never take mine off. {these are included in the sale to – CHEER20) … I’ve also given silhouette cufflinks and prints as gifts too!
- JB uses collar stays five times a week. The flimsy ones that come with shirts just don’t cut it. I’ve loved giving him custom collar stays. And I love these other collar stays that can be done in your kids handwriting!
- A print of your/or someone’s special vows. I had this made of my parents a couple anniversaries ago. Their vows are my all time favorite. I have their original ones framed.
- Dixie Design Stationery set. These make the best gifts! I’ve given them to my mom and my sister.
- When Kendall Kirk sent me this gorgeous painting of my boys I honestly cried. It’s a treasure. If I was packing for a hurricane, this would come with me! Would make a great gift for a mother, mother in law, or maybe even your husband to keep at his office.
- A house illustration makes a great gift! For someone who just moved into their forever home, or just anyone who loves their home (:
- A family/child illustration. I love Inna’s work … I’ve given it, and received it several times. I’ve had her illustrate old cherished photos and I’ve done photos I’ve taken that day. These are real treasures.
- I’m a sucker for monogram booties, and these pajamas are just my go-to new baby gift. Softest, sweetest.
- My obsession with Tricia Lowenfield’s work is STRONG. These custom ornaments are just darling. I die over the custom tea set (perfect thoughtful gift for a little girl) and her nativity scenes.
- Don’t forget the dog mamas! These sweet simple ornaments are precious.
- Custom tea towels. I gave one to my mother last year – it was an old hand written recipe of my Ninny who passed last year. Such a sweet gift and right now a portion of Tarayn’s proceeds go to Hurricane Michael relief!
- I love giving these TBBC totes as gifts! Super sweet with a monogram or a name embroidered!
- My mother gave me this little gold wreath last year as a gift and it’s one of my most precious things I have. It comes from Greece, so order asap as shipping took a LONG time.
