The amount of transformation this room has gone though has been a lot!  I’m finally at this place where I really love it, and that’s in big part to these custom sage green drapes from Pepper Home.  Sage is having a moment, but it’s also such a classic color.  Sage green is so soothing to me, and feels like a neutral.  This was my second time (see our dining room here) working with Pepper Home and I could shout from the rooftops about just how easy it is.  You simply use their Curtain Calculator.  Pick what kind of curtain you’d like – pinch pleat, rod pocket, ring top,  or tailored pleat.  Then follow the prompts, and get to measuring.  I love how it also guides you into what look you want.  Sophisticated?  Tailored?  puddle for drama?  It really makes picking out curtains and figuring out the look you want to go for easy as can be.

Since the last time I worked with them they have also started offering custom trim!  I was so excited about this, because trim adds a ton to curtains.   So not only can you choose the fabric now but  can choose between tassels, fabric, ric-rac – and exactly where you’d like it.  Truly a bespoke experience!

Alisia took pictures at different times of day.  It’s one of my favorite parts of this house – just how much the mood shifts all throughout the day.  This room can be moody and it can be light and bright – it all depends on time of day and also weather!

As I’ve reminded y’all before, building a home takes time.  I don’t think I’ll ever be done fully decorating with this house, but for me, that’s the fun of it.  We’ve been here going on 8 years, and she’s changed as my taste has evolved too.
