An oldie from last year, but I loved doing it.  One little thing I love about each of them inside each day.

I found this little love note garland in the target dollar spot!  and now thanks to y’all have lots of ideas on how I’m going to fill them up! 

We ended up going with Minted (c/0)  for Valentine’s this year!  I had bought these books for tucks birthday party as the favors from book outlet for under $2 a piece but we ended up having the party earlier than expected so I am using the books as the “treat”.  For wesleys I found him some manatee books over on National Geographic for a good price.

I was having a conversation with a friend the other day how my biggest thing I always wanted to be was married with children.  I’m sure that seems terribly old fashioned!  But dreams are dreams, even if they are different than what yours may look like.  When I think about what I wanted at 5 – it was a big wedding, a husband, and babies.  When I think what I wanted at 15 – same thing.  I wanted other things outside of that, and I went after many of them… but at 36, even though I don’t feel like I’ve arrived with many of my other dreams … I’m just feeling thankful that I’m that mom that decorates for every season, and tries her hardest to make her people feel loved and known.
