Stoffer Home x Cloth Company's Thelma Settee
I feel like I have been looking at this couch since I first saw it … likely a year ago! It’s the Thelma Settee in Laurel from One Kings Lane. Our couch in the living room was huge, and in a lower ceiling historical home, I felt like it overwhelmed the space with its size. The room has always been tricky to me as it’s a rectangular. I have loved it so much more now that we’ve kind of broken up that rectangular with a rug and sofa table, so to create kind of “two rooms in one”. Back to the couch though – it was a great couch, we had it for five years, it’s easy to clean, and very comfortable. It’s so big, that when you take the cushions off, you could easily turn it into a very comfortable sleeper sofa for one house guest.
But I was set on something smaller and a little more feminine for the space. When I took the measurements of the settee and imagined them in the room it worked, so I went for it. I didn’t see any reviews online, so that’s one reason I’m sharing my experience here. As soon as we received it, JB put it together, and I quickly ordered a second. My plan for this room is that these two will face each other, with the swivels now in the place the settee is. This room is off our screened in porch, and I love that it’s basically two sitting rooms. If a game is on, and the weather is nice, I like to put the male guests (or whoever likes to watch football/baseball) on the porch with this little traveling TV. But I like to think of this formal sitting room as a little ladies lounge. Though obviously everyone is welcome! I think of it as a more formal space than our family room, but one that’s still plenty approachable. You can certainly kick your feet up here too! I’m happy to report that we did have our first big clean up on this couch, and it came right out with soap and water. It looks brand new! So I do believe it’s fairly easy to keep clean.
So all in all, happy with this piece! I also see there are some similar ones from Birch Lane, in a pretty floral, you may want to consider too!

Our Coffee Table
I get asked quite frequently about our coffee table. I bought it in 2019, from Wisteria and it’s called the Barley Twist table.
Our lighting
One of my all time favorite lighting choices in our home is the Aerin Hampton in plaster from Visual Comfort. It’s so beautiful, and such a fun texture to add to a room.
