I am a total sucker for subscription boxes. My personal ones are totally self indulgent (I get the allure beauty box and sephora play box) but I love them. They introduce me to new products, and I’ve found several I really love. Plus it’s just really fun trying them out, and getting a little happy in the mail. But kids subscription boxes? SO genius. Each below are perfect for finding activities to do together, each keep their ages in mind, and they are all educational in some way. All of these would be a great gift, but I think especially for Grandparents to give. It’s like the gift that keeps coming (:
- Foodstirs. I LOVE this one. It’s perfect if your kids love to bake. Wesley is especially obsessed and this kind of activity is probably his favorite. They give you all of the (mostly organic) ingredients, and set you up with a cute kid-centric item to bake. A subscription can be set up to come every month, and they are always set around the theme of that month. ie: for halloween we made these monster cookie sandwiches.
- Little Passports: I especially love this one. The boys love following Toby and the kids around the world, and learning about their cultures, animals, and geography. They get so excited when a new package arrives! Thank you Little Passports for sending us this! It’s perfect for our upcoming trips next year.
- I have loved Usborne Books for so long. We don’t have a subscription, but would love one. I love giving their books, and they are always my boys favorites! They have subscriptions for different age categories, and they come 3 times a year.
- Amazon Stem Club: I love Stem toys (you can find my kids favorites here). I also know they are the toys my kids continually go back to playing with. This subscription breaks it up by age, and it has always been worth the $20. They are also so fun to do with the kids.
- KiwiCo: we actually don’t have this one, but everyone who does is IN LOVE with it. All of the projects looks so neat – and definitely STEM learning.
