the night before i decided we must do all the things we used to do! it
was going to be saturday after all, and I just find saturdays in basel
in the summer to be pure magic. i said, the flea market! that’s what
we’ll start our day with. it’s probably my favorite way to shop. or
look. i almost always find something. and i am always stunned by the
swiss. the well preserved things you can find, the intricate
tablecloths, or just junk. it fascinates me and trains my eye. and
then we were to head straight to h&m. oh i love them abroad! I
never find anything over here, but there’s something to be said about
h&m in europe. it’s better overseas, i tell ya! but the weather
had another idea, and it rained on our little heads that morning. we
still went to the fresh market, and ate my at my fave med place for
lunch, and we did indeed go to h&m (but this time i wound up in the
baby section for much of it) and onto consum. consum is the best little
cheese and meet shop you will ever find. cutest too. and their fig
mustard just about does. me. in. and then we went back with our babies,
ate pizza, and had what jb calls a “breastfeeding party”. let me
explain … About a month before our trip over JB asked “so what are we
going to do while we’re there? you and crissy just going to have
breastfeeding parties?!” … and i had to laugh, because, basically.
yes. hey! we’re still getting the hang of this whole mama thing.
