Teacher Appreciation week is next week! Sorry – didn’t give you a ton of warning. And I know you’re like, I’m getting something for myself since you’re the teacher now- and I get that.
Our teachers have really gone above and beyond, so I’m feeling extra sappy over them right now. Even if I do have to click play everyday, people see me in my pajamas or my messy house too often via their class zoom or am helping with an assignment.
It’s wild times, and that means we have to come up with some creative ideas to celebrate our teachers!
- Write them an email! Just let them know how you appreciate them, or how you’ve seen your child overcome an obstacle with their help.
- Have your child or help your child fill out these Teacher Appreciation fill in the blank FREE printable 1
- and printable two – Teacher Appreciation fill in the blank the wonderful Tammy of Sequins and Lipstick created!
- Send them a Greetabl with a few pictures from the year and a treat and/or a gift card
- Grocery gift cards!
- I used this inexpensive vase from target to put our Fifty Flowers packs in – and had John come up with adjectives for his teacher. Much like the gift card wreath and tree that I’ve done (all thanks to Do Say Give). You could also do hand prints if they are younger.
- Send them cards that the kids have made!
- Send a video of your child telling a favorite memory of their teacher.
- Put signs in their yards saying you love them!
I can’t wait to see people celebrate creatively this year. I know it’s hard for them being away from their kids, and this can be a bright spot for their week!
