{this last picture not quiiiite what you were expecting, huh}
thanksgiving and the entire long weekend was so much fun.
thanksgiving breakfast, lunch and dinner; and leftovers x three. so good.
lots of family in town and my mamas cooking makes for the happiest of holidays.
oh and a talent show … we had yodeling, clown acts, baton acts, magic tricks, xylophone playing (tucks act), stand up comedy … i didn’t know I could laugh so hard.
tuck is the only baby being passed around like a prized trophy and loves the attention.
i just love watching his little personality unfold. i loved seeing how much food he could stuff … literally he ate it all and kept wanting more. he’s a baby foody that guy. or i guess a foody means he’s discerning about his food. so scratch that. he’s a little piglet; he’ll eat it all. {knock.on.wood.}
so of course this year i’m so thankful to call tuck my son.
it’s always so crazy to think back a year ago,
how different life was …
I was in Panama with a huge belly walking down an aisle witnessing my friends marry … for one thing.
and now tuck isn’t just in my belly.
he’s here!
and he’s more fun and more incredible in every way than i had ever dreamed up.
so yep, thankful for that little guy. my main squeeze jb. and the big guy upstairs.
also, ps:
soooo glad i didn’t know how much fun these critters are when i was younger, because i’m pretty sure i’d have ten by now and i wouldn’t have gotten a thing done. {and you know what, that’d be okay too}
