1. I have to say this sweater (seen above) is super cozy.
2. I watched a lot of movies on my flight abroad. Probably the only time I ever watch movies. I am obsessed with Melissa McCarthy – so naturally my favorite movie of the trip was Life of the Party. I laughed until I cried … which was real awkward with a stranger next to me.
3. We booked our place in San Sebastian! I guess it’s really happening!!! So. excited.
4. Our trip was definitely one of the biggest highlights of our September, and I’m trying to pepper it in here. In the mix with some other content, so you don’t get too tired of it!
5. We have had birthday parties, sometimes back to back, every weekend since school started. I don’t have a ton of storage space in our house, so I just use our guest closet for go to gifts. The gist is a ton of kid birthday cards from Trader Joe’s, birthday bags, and some presents I buy in bulk. I bought a bunch of these books for our girls – Dear Girl. It helps me not spend $$$ on a quick gift.
6. One of my favorite people to follow on instagram is Julie Friedman from Young, Wild, and Friedman. If you are looking for lots of fun sensory play ideas, her blog is filled with them. Plus she makes the cutest play doh kits! They sell out in two minutes so you really have to be dedicated to snagging one.
7. JB was out of town a couple times in September, and I loved making the easy kids charcuterie muffin tins with everyone. Couldn’t believe how many people joined in and shared in September! rounding them up + actually photographing one of ours for a post is on my October to do list.
8. Coming home from Disney to Kendal Kirk Singlton’s beautiful work of my boys made my month!
9. The cutest Mickey shirt if you’re going to Animal Kingdom!
10. “We must begin by admitting that people and situations do not cause us to speak as we do. Our hearts control our words. People and situations simply provide the occasion for the heart to express itself.” – Paul David Tripp
Happy October!!
