Holiday Home Tour
I wanted to share my traditional take on Holiday decor around our home this year. I’m doing this holiday home tour with friends – so be sure and check out these talented ladies websites for more inspiration. All of whom I love, love their classic Christmas style.
Nutcrackers and Citrus for a very Florida Christmas
A couple of years ago I found these unpainted nutcrackers and painted them a favorite shade of blue. Tied a little green ribbon around, and voila! Cute decor for super cheap. Here is where you can buy the unfinished nutcracker, and paint it to the color of your choosing. Would be a fun girls night or activity with kids. I planted them on top of my Addison Ross tray – which would make such a great gift for the holidays. And there’s something about citrus during the holidays in Florida that just feels right.
A touch of Nostalgia
I love this little collection of bottle brush trees. Forever making me nostalgic. Love the ones from Anthropologie this year. They look so pretty on top of my console table from The Classic Workshop.
Block Print Christmas
Loving this gorgeous block print tree skirt from Willow Park Boutique! You know I had to add a touch of block print this year. This green and white one is so pretty! They also have some gorgeous stockings too if you are in the market.
Porcelain Trees
I love bringing out these Shop Lo Home handmade Christmas trees every year. They look great on a mantle, as a centerpiece on a Christmas table, or any little vignette.
A little Greenery always Warms up your home for the holidays
Add instant warmth with greenery this holiday season. This was just some inexpensive ($4) greenery at the grocery store. I just weaved it around the chandelier to create the look. {Wearing this dress from Draper James.}
Our Christmas Tree
Never have I ever thought I’d have a fake tree for Christmas – or at least as our main one! But my husbands allergies gets so bad. This year we continued the tradition, but just went to go pick one out with my parents. I will say that it’s a lot easier! It’s a Balsam Hill Blue Spruce.
Staircase Christmas Style
While I normally do a fresh garland here, I’m trying to keep JB’s allergies at bay. So I just tied some stockings up!
Thanks for checking out my traditional take on Holiday home styling. Hope you all have a wonderful season!
