This tuesday we were invited by disney to check out the new Disney Junior Dance Party at Hollywood Studios. It was so adorable, and perfect for the kids ages that they are right now. It was also so fun to do Disney with my goddaughter and tucks godmama. The ages of the kids are 2, 3, and 6 for reference. We loved the old dance party, but this one is even better and more interactive. I’m not sure my six year old sat down at all for the duration of it.
After the dance party we did all of the toy story rides. Starting with Slinky Dog! Ava (who is two!) went on it! Wes is scared of going on slinky dog, but at the end of the day when I asked him “what was your favorite part of today?” he said watching Ava on slinky dog. We took turns watching Wesley, so Tuck could ride too.  we alien saucered it up! I think this ride is so cute and fun… and I think I like it even better than tea cups.
then we did toy story mania!
we had lunch at Hollywood & Vine with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Daisy. It was super cute, and we thought the food was pretty good too. This is the spot that in the morning you can have breakfast with Disney Junior characters.
One thing I love about Hollywood Studios is all of the wandering characters, and this storm trooper march was tucks favorite.
after lunch we went to The frozen sing along. Which was our first time doing it. All three loved it, and I liked that they had jokes adults would get too.
The new Lightning McQueen racing academy was so fun and a hit with the little ones! great for kids AND adults!
Ava and Heather went to The Little Mermaid, while we tried to go on the Star Wars ride… but Wes was scared, so we bought light sabers! their first ones. So far, no brother has been harmed.
We headed out after that, since Wes was due for a nap. But there is even more for preschoolers at Hollywood Studios, like:
- Â Muppet Show
- The new pixar place for The Incredibles…- you can meet edna, tour her costumes, and there’s a show on the half hour. You can also get baby jack jacks num num cookies!
- The Jedi Training academy. I’ve heard that you have to race to sign up for this first thing in the morning to get a spot (sign up is in front of Indiana Jones). I definitely want to do it when Wes turns 4 this April. Because you have to be between the ages of 4-12.
- character greetings outside of the disney junior dance party
- beauty and the beast live
- and if you can make it up, the fireworks look amazing!
What a fun day! Highlight was definitely seeing it all through Avas eyes (:
