Spring Break Packing List for the Whole Family

Spring break is right around the corner, and I am so excited! We are heading back to Nevis again this year. It will be our third time visiting the island as a family, and it has become such a special place for us. I know many of you also have upcoming travel plans, so I wanted to share a spring break packing list for the entire family. Vacation clothing, swimwear, sandals, bags, and more, these are some of the pieces that will be in our suitcases this spring!

Packing Essentials

Before jumping into the specific spring break pieces I’ll be packing for our family, I wanted to share a few travel essentials I pack for every trip. First up, I never hit the road without my traveling first aid kit. I like to turn a cosmetic bag into a first aid kit, so that it includes exactly what I think we might need. Here is a list of what I include inside.

Additionally, there are 17 travel essentials that I bring on every single trip. These include everything from a travel pillow and a cadence capsule system to a mini portable phone charger and a mini fan. You can see the full list here

Spring Break Packing List: Women

Okay, now on to the fun part! Let’s talk about the specific clothing and accessories I’ll be packing for our family. When I’m packing outfits, I typically like to stick to a similar color scheme. This way the pieces are easy to mix and match. Oftentimes the colors end up being similar for all four people in our family, which is always nice for a fun family photo op! But, if they don’t all match up, this is okay as well – Just as long as each individual person’s suitcase is full of mix-and-match pieces to get the most wear out of.

This year, shades of blue, green, neutrals, and pops of pink are catching my eye. For myself, I like to pack a variety of dresses that can be worn from exploring a new city to a nice dinner out. Of course, I bring multiple swimsuit options and shorts and coverups to throw on during the day. For my shoes, I plan to pack neutral heels, wedges, and sandals, this way they match everything. Same with my bags! And don’t forget to pack sunglasses and a sun hat for extra protection.

Spring Break Packing List: Men

For JB, I like to pack a mix of casual and dressier pieces. Once again, the colors and items are all easy to mix and match, depending on what we’re doing that day. For a nice dinner, he will typically wear a button-down and a neutral blazer. During the day he’s usually wearing a soft polo or casual performance tee with shorts or swim trunks. Be sure to pack a variety of shoes, and don’t forget a belt!

Spring Break Packing List: Girls

While I won’t be packing for any girls, I had so much fun searching the latest spring arrivals and dreaming about what I would pack if I were! There are so many sweet colors and prints in swimwear, dresses, and accessories. I especially love the Lorna Murray sun hat and mini woven purse! And how adorable is this girls suitcase and the liberty floral headbands? SO sweet!

Spring Break Packing List: Boys

However, the spring break cuteness isn’t just for girls! There are tons of great styles for boys this year as well. Once again, I love these shades of blue, green, and pops of pink. There are so many different outfit combinations that can be put together with these pieces. The terry cloth shorts set has been a favorite of my boys for multiple years, as well as these styles of swim trunks. I always like to pack a pullover sweater as well, because it can sometimes get chilly at night.
