{Thank you Walt Disney World Resort for hosting us at Blizzard Beach}
This was my first time going to Blizzard Beach. I remember going to Typhoon Lagoon and River Country growing up, but I never went to Blizzard Beach. You might not think so from the picture above, but it was actually not packed at all. Even in August! Which is typically our hottest month, and a busy one at Disney World. We didn’t even have to wait in line to take pictures with Goofy! We all had fun, and really minimal wait times. Here’s a few of the things we did that are perfect for toddlers and preschoolers at Disney’s Blizzard Beach!
There’s a wandering Goofy at Blizzard Beach. He seems to mostly hang out in the beginning of the park, near the Beach Haus. Like I said above, we didn’t even have to wait for pictures with him. There was also no one behind us in line, so we could take as many as we’d like. 
I brought my bob stroller… mostly for storage since we brought towels (though you can rent or buy them there). There weren’t as many strollers as you see around other parks, but I was glad we brought ours – just for the storage factor!
We went straight to Tike’s Peak. Which has an area that’s perfect for babies and toddlers, plenty of shaded places to post up for the day, and slides my boys loved. If my boys were a little bit younger, I probably would have stayed here all day!
Afterward we checked out Meltaway Bay – which has a bigger and a smaller wave pool. This is seen in the first picture on this post! There are plenty of rafts for the little ones, and it’s a nice spot to just relax as it has a zero entry. 
We went up the chair lift to the top! Both boys loved this. Just something to note – riders need to be 32” to ride, and you also can only bring a camera if it attaches to your wrist. I had a gopro with me with a wristband, so that worked!
At the top of the chair lift we went on Teamboat springs. I have the most hilarious video of this which basically has the boys saying “WE LOVE THIS WE LOVE THIS”. This was the highlight of our trip to Blizzard Beach. Teamboat Springs is the longest waterpark family ride, and it’s just so much fun. For Teamboat Springs, you can be any height.
We popped onto Cross Country Creek – a very long and fun lazy river. We loved the theming throughout! Boys never wanted to get off, but we were hungry!
We had lunch at LottaWatta Lodge. For dessert I surprised the boys by ordering the sandpail sundae for us to share. I thought it would be regular size. But it was huge, and filled with so many yummy surprises inside. We didn’t finish it, but it was SO GOOD. 
There’s a lot more to explore, and things they could have done at their ages, but Wesley was due for a nap! So until next time, Blizzard Beach (: It was the perfect thing to do on a hot summer day!
