First of the gift guides is the travel gifts for men! I am trying to shop early, as always. So thought I’d give you some of JB’s favorites that would give you some ideas for yourself. Or your guys in your life.
Travel Gifts for Men
- Carryon luggage from Target. Under $100, and went all over with us this summer through Europe and Costa Rica – 8 different flights. Nothing super fancy! But it’s held up. And I love the blue and green colors they have. One idea I have is that you could fill the inside of a carry on with some of these items. So it’s kind of a gift basket of sorts (: If you want to go higher end look at Tumi or Paravel
- Passport cover. It’s great to have something to protect your passport from the elements of traveling. If you can, get a different color for everyone in your family so you can quickly distinguish between everyone’s passports.
- Luggage scale. I put this in JB’s stocking years ago and we use it for every trip. It really comes in handy!
- Air Tags. You can use air tags for a million different things. But one way is to slip them in your suitcase, so you always know where they are. If they are misplaced, you’ll be able to notify the airport where they ended up! I’ve also heard of putting these in kids pockets if they get lost.
- A hanging toiletry bag. Big fan of Dopp kits but they need to hang. That way you can see everything in there, and it will free up counter space when you are traveling.
- Sunglass strap. I love a sunglass strap while traveling so I’m not fumbling for my sunglasses, and instead know right where they are.
- Quilted travel coats. These are great for travel as they fold so small. They’re quite warm, and block the wind should a chill come in.
- Garment Bags. Not super practical for airplane travel, but they are great for keeping suits intact and looking sharp.
- Travel packing cubes. We are big fans! Helps you stay organized once you’ve arrived.
- Wallpaper City Guides. These are my favorite! bonus- they look great together on a coffee table. Get one to where you’re headed next, or one of your most beloved areas. I have put one in JBs stocking nearly every year.
- Apple portable charger. This charger magnetically attaches to the back of your iPhone. It charges so quickly! Especially important if he does work on his phone!
- UGB bag. Remade in beautiful leather. a splurge but so nice!
- This backpack is under $50, and both JB and I give it five stars. It’s very cleverly designed. I bought it for myself, but JB liked it so much that I let him steal it (:
